Northgate sits at the very top of Colorado Springs, close enough to the Air Force Academy that you can watch cadets on their morning runs and close enough to Monument that some people mix the two up. This is one of the newer, more upscale parts of the city, built around golf course communities like Flying Horse, with custom and semi custom homes that lean larger than what you will find in most of Colorado Springs.

What I like about Northgate is the sense of space. Lots are bigger, mountain views are common, and the golf course communities give the area a resort like feel without leaving the city limits. It is also one of the fastest growing parts of Colorado Springs, so there is still new construction happening if you want to build rather than buy existing.
