Briargate is the neighborhood most people picture when they think "newer Colorado Springs." Built out mostly from the 1990s through today, it is a master planned community in the true sense, curving streets, community parks, and subdivisions that were clearly designed with families in mind rather than bolted on afterward.

What I like about Briargate is how much thought went into the layout. You are close to shopping and restaurants along the Powers Boulevard and Voyager Parkway corridors, but the neighborhoods themselves stay quiet, with sidewalks, trails, and parks woven through almost every subdivision. It is one of the easiest areas in Colorado Springs to raise a family without feeling boxed in.
